Cat Trapping & Transportation

TRAP/NEUTER/RETURN (TNR)

Doing TNR may just be right up your alley! If you welcome a challenge, have incredible patience and don’t mind getting your hands and other body parts dirty, TNR may be for you. Trap/Neuter/Return is a proven, humane way to reduce the overwhelming cat population here in Las Vegas. After the cats are trapped, they visit a veterinary clinic to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ear-tipped. After their recovery, the cats are released back into their neighborhood.

This is an adventure-driven, thrill of accomplishment position that prevents hundreds of births each year by getting unfixed cats off the streets.

If you are Interested in becoming a TNR Volunteer, select the "Volunteer Trapper Waiver Application" link below to download the application.   If you have any additional questions regarding this position or anything else, please reach out to us at cats@communitycatangels.org

Neuter-Scooter

Are you able to transport some very precious cargo? Spaying and neutering cats is crucial because just one fertile female and her offspring can produce an untold number of kittens. Preventing cat overpopulation means lots of trips back and forth from the veterinary clinic for sterilization. If you have a vehicle and some time to spare, please consider helping us with this important function.

A Community Cat Angels transporter volunteer is on the ground assisting with transporting cats to vet offices, adoption centers, foster homes, or anywhere duty calls. This is a great way to be active with cats without a 24/hour 7 day a week commitment.
